Protocol K-370 is an organic salt based chrome and stainless steel tank cleaner. It is designed to remove rust and calcium deposits from chrome and steel. Protocol K-370 can be used alone or as a presoak in a two-stage wash system. The organic salts used in Protocol K-370 act like hydrochloric acid without the safety hazards.
Product Directions
- For regular cleaning jobs, apply Protocol K-370 at a ratio of 1:10 (K-370:water).
- Let sit for 2-5 min, then rinse with a pressure washer.
- For a more significant effect, brush the solution as the agitation will increase the cleaning.
- Ensure to rinse thoroughly; as with any other acid, Protocol K-370 is corrosive to aluminum and can still cause damage after long periods of exposure.
- For heavy rust or calcium scale, use 1:5.
- This product can also be used straight to etch concrete.
