CFIA APPROVED. Scale Zero is a phosphoric acid oxide and scale remover that is used to quickly remove scale and/or oxidation build-up from a variety of surfaces. It is an excellent choice for re-circulation cleaning of dish machines, removing mineral deposits from coffee makers, ice machines, and laboratory glassware as well as general removal of hard water mineral deposits. Product Directions
The usage concentration depends on the amount of scale and the method of application. De-scaling Dishwashing Machines: Use 1L of product to 4 L of water. Circulate solution in machine until scale is dissolved (20 - 30 minutes). Drain and rinse machine thoroughly. Glass Washers: Use 60 mL of product per L of water at 50 - 60 °C. Circulate solution for 15 - 30 minutes. Scaled glasses can also be cleaned by this method, using 15 - 30 mL of product per litre of water. For other applications, start with a dilution of 20 - 30 mL of product per litre of water. Stronger solutions may be required for heavier soils. Food contact surfaces must be rinsed with potable water before reuse.
